Mentor Matchmaker is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in mentorship. We work with community leaders and partner organizations to recruit diverse mentors and mentees. During the onboarding process, participants are required to watch training videos and read a guidebook on how to handle DEI challenges that might arise in mentorship, how to practice cultural humility, and how to have inclusive conversations. All participants are expected to exhibit conduct that reflects inclusion during correspondence and meetings. Participants who believe they have been subjected to any kind of discrimination that conflicts with Mentor Matchmaker’s diversity policy can seek assistance from their account manager, and participants exhibiting inappropriate behavior will be removed from the program.
